Meet Carl

Doctor of physical therapy specializing in athletic rehabilitation
Founder, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Born and raised in Chicago, I studied Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from North Central College in Naperville.

Over seven years of training, I’ve gained experience across diverse clinical settings, but my true passion has always been sports and performance. During my clinical rotations, I worked with athletes and active individuals nationwide—from high-level professionals in Northern California’s Bay Area to a performance-focused clinic in the Dallas–Fort Worth region affiliated with organizations like the MLB’s Texas Rangers and the NHL’s Dallas Stars.

While I thrive in working with athletes, my approach extends far beyond sport. Whether you’re a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone simply trying to move without pain, I provide the same level of precision, attention, and evidence-based care to help you overcome injury—no matter how big or small.

From Former Patients

“I cannot recommend Carl enough. I initially started seeing him after a car wreck injured my ribs, making it a struggle just to get out of bed. Seeing how incredibly fast I healed on his program, I asked him to look at a lingering shoulder injury I'd been dealing with for years. He rebuilt my strength and mobility from the ground up, completely healing both injuries. As someone who thrives on being active, getting back to lifting heavy, running, and doing yoga without limits is huge. If you need a PT who truly understands high-level recovery, book an appointment with Carl.”

— Glenn Farina

“Carl was amazing! I had 3 separate shoulder surgeries on my labrum, rotator cuff, and bicep and after a long 6 months of physical therapy, my shoulder has never felt better. Carl listened to me daily if I had pain and answered any questions or concerns I had. He walked me through the recovery process step by step and am extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend Carl as a physical therapist! Thanks Carl, you're the man!”
